David Charles Prowse, MBE (born 1 July 1935) is an English bodybuilder; weightlifter and character actor in British film and television. Worldwide, he is best known for physically portraying Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, in 2015 he starred in a documentary of that role, entitled I Am Your Father. Prior to his role as Vader; Prowse had established himself as a prominent figure in British culture as the first Green Cross Code man. Additionally, a character used in British road safety advertising aimed at children.

Brian Muir (born 15 April 1952) is a British sculptor who most famously created Darth Vaders helmet and armour using Ralph McQuarries design.

He was also responsible for sculpting the stormtrooper armour in Star Wars; (the helmet sculpted by Liz Moore) and the heads for the Death Star Droid; CZ3, and some finishing work on the C-3PO full suit.

Darth Vader, also known by his birth name Anakin Skywalker, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. Furthermore, Vader appears in the original film trilogy as a pivotal antagonist whose actions drive the plot. While his past as Anakin Skywalker; and the story of his corruption is central to the narrative of the prequel trilogy.
