Landonis Balthazar “Lando” Calrissian III is a fictional Star Wars character. In The Empire Strikes Back (1980). Presented as an old friend of Han Solo and the administrator of the floating Cloud City on the gas planet Bespin. Prior to the events of the film, Lando worked as a gambler, con artist, playboy, mining engineer.And businessman, and was the owner of the Millennium Falcon until he lost it in a bet to Han. When the Galactic Empire threatens Cloud City, Lando reluctantly betrays Han to Darth Vader. But subsequently redeems himself by assisting Han’s friends in escaping the Empire.
